Self Certification
Cyber Essentials Self Certification is a Verified Self Assessment

With this option, you will assess yourselves against five basic security controls and our qualified assessors will verify the information you provide.

All the self-assessment questions are available to download for free here. Cyber Essentials certification includes automatic cyber liability insurance for any UK organisation who certifies their whole organisation and have less than £20m annual turnover (terms apply).

Many companies we certify rely on external input from their IT Departments or Outsourced IT providers to get them to the required standard, and unfortunately, some of these people do not know the technical requirements and therefore certification on paper is not a true reflection of what has been implemented.

For this reason, we offer a service where we will connect up to a sample of your devices, and check that the controls relevant to these devices have been implemented correctly. Just choose the 'With Sample Verification' option before you buy.

Cyber Essentials With a Little Help
This is one of our bespoke packages, designed to help you have the time to get your business up to a compliant level.

Many companies who opt for the self certification option, actually end up paying far more than the £300 base price and this is because they don't realise that if they fail due to non compliance, there are only 48 hours to rectify and resubmit. Should they fail again then the whole process has to start from the beginning - including the £300 fee.

We put these packages together as a result of this and it comes with a pre-marking service, meaning if you fail, we'll allow you to resubmit as many times as you need to, before officially processing it and therefore avoiding any extra cost risk.

As an added feature, we also offer to perform an external vulnerability scan - something that usually only comes with the Cyber Essentials PLUS certification. This will highlight any immediate weaknesses from the outside in that attackers could manipulate to gain entry.

You'll also benefit from 2 hours phone or email guidance from us, to assist in getting up to that all important compliant level.

Cyber Essentials With a Lot of Help
This is our other bespoke package option if you'd like some more help and additional features.

It comes with everything that the 'little bit of help' package offers, with some added benefits that we've put together to help you with further elements. These all contribute to having as many angles covered as possible and providing you with peace of mind that you've done everything that would be expected of you, to protect your business from cyber threats.

You'll still have that helpful pre-marking service, but with 4 hours of our phone or email guidance.

We'll also provide you with some pre-written templates based around Cyber Essentials, intended to be used for your company policies documentation.

This is the very best self certification package and comes with everything we think you'll need, outside of gaining the on site audited - Cyber Essentials PLUS.

Cyber Essentials PLUS

This is the ultimate certification for Cyber Essentials and includes the self-certification, but with a huge benefit of it being audited on-site by us and verified as fully compliant.

It includes an internal and external vulnerability scan, policy documentation, GAP analysis on any areas that were a failure and why they failed, plus up to two rescans, if required.

This package is priced depending on a number of factors such as company size, number of locations etc, and they start at £1695 for a full service from current set up, GAP analysis and advice through your journey to compliance, including additional scans if required.
