May 2003 and Southern IT Networks was born. Born from a real belief that I could do it better, much better than the companies I had worked for previously. 

For me to take a task, any task, I have to be confident I can do it really well, or I'd rather not at all. From my time in retail jobs whilst at college, then employment, freelancing and temping it didn't matter what the task was, how small it may seem, I had to do it to the very best of my ability, because a sense of pride and achievement really drives me and my vision for Southern IT Networks.

In my school years my main interest was in technology, how it worked, breaking it, fixing it again, and what cool stuff you could do with it. I'm naturally among the early adopters of technology and want to uncover it's benefits so I can talk to friends, family and clients and see if it can help make their lives or business easier, better, more efficient or profitable. A lot of this we take for granted with technology becoming more and more ingrained in our everyday lives, but when technology is really understood and applied in the right way, the results can be amazing. 

What's this mean for your business?

I set up Southern IT Networks because i was really disheartened by the level of service that companies I worked for gave to their clients, and that didn't sit well with me. I do things to do them excellently, or not at all, much to my frustration at times! 

That was 14 years ago now and Southern IT Networks is my way of delivering my 'Why' and now we have a dedicated and skilled team that know what our purpose is. Any company can delivery IT Support, but how many can deliver it excellently? We may not be perfect today, but we are better than we were 6 months ago, and in 6 months time we'll be better still, continuous improvement comes first in everything we do.
